Operations Consultant Travel Agency Cape Town
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operations Consultant to join a dynamic travel agency based in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment supporting both sales and operational teams while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Position Overview
The Operations Consultant will be responsible for supporting the sales team liaising with supplier partners and ensuring that all guest interactions and bookings meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel highly organised and skilled at providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Qualify new enquiries before introducing them to the sales team.
Support the sales team with post-booking processes.
Liaise with supplier partners to maintain high service levels for guests.
Respond to guest enquiries providing support and ensuring a seamless pre-trip experience.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure all trip details are accurate and complete.
Ensure all recommended lodges trips and experiences meet brand standards.
Keep up to date with developments across destinations including new properties management changes health advice and flight connections.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the company brand and customer experience initiatives.
Required Skills and Competencies
Passion for travel and knowledge of global destinations.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to change and embrace new processes.
Excellent customer service and people skills.
Ability to remain calm and think quickly under pressure.
Desire to make exploring remote destinations accessible for guests.
12 years experience in travel or customer service is preferred but not essential.
