The Role
BGIS is seeking a Qualified Painter-Decoratorsto join our Invercargill Trades Team. This is a hands-on role supporting maintenance renovation and upgrade projects across both residential and commercial environments working directly with a multi-disciplinary team on long-term meaningful government client contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry Out Maintenance:Perform regular servicing and repairs and renovations on residential and commercial sites
- Install and Upgrade Systems:Complete high-quality painting finishing and surface preparation works across residential and commercial properties
- Ensure Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety rules and building regulations
- Support Projects:Assist with renovations and upgrade projects from start to finish
What Youll Bring
- NZ Certificate in Painting & Decorating or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience in residential maintenance upgrades or renovation projects
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices and compliance obligations
- Ability to use iPad and mobile apps for time & task reporting
- A Full (Class 1) NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
