Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist. This position interprets provider orders and prescriptions compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards. As a Pharmacist Clinical you will:
- Consult with patients and others as required regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
- Provide drug information to patients health care workers and others as necessary.
- Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other supporting staff including directing work flow and assurance of completion of duties.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in area of practice.
Schedule: Rotating schedule Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm Weekends 7:00am - 3:30pm some holidays
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- 1 year hospital experience preferred bit not required
- May be required to be on-call in certain situations.
- Bachelors Science or Pharm D required
- Active Pharmacist license in the state you are practicing required or willing to get a KS paharacist license
- ACLS Preferred
Physical Requirements - Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting walking standing and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
