NOTE: This position will be based from Reston VA and will follow our hybrid working schedule of in-office 3x/ week. There is no relocation support available for the role.

What Youll Do

• Develop automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency reducing manual efforts and total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Design and implement frontend interfacesusing modern frameworks such as or ensuring responsive and intuitive user experiences
• Collaborate with backend and engineering teams to integrate frontend components with APIs and backend systems
• Hands-on experience in Database Administrationand Linux system operations
• Work closely with Engineering teams to report review and enhance overall database and application performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Database Python and frontend applications effectively
• Participate in and lead various projects proof-of-concept initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis for high-priority incidents
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide technical guidance to L1/L2 Teams

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related IT discipline
• Experience developing testing and maintaining backend services and APIsusing Python
• Strong proficiency in frontend developmentusing or including component-based architecture state management and API integration
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIsand microservices architectures
• Experience with database design optimization and query performance tuning (SAP HANA/Oracle)
• Knowledge of stored procedures functions triggers and complex SQL queries
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment testing and operational workflows
• Experience integrating frontend and backend components for full-stack development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills analytical thinking and a proactive can-do attitude
• Excellent communication documentation and collaboration skill
