Tessera is seeking a dependable Medium Motor Vehicle Driver to support transportation services at WSBOSC. This role is responsible for the safe timely and professional operation of vehicles up to 4 tons to transport personnel trainees and cargo as assigned.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive vehicles and equipment to transport trainees government and/or military personnel and cargo.

• Drive vehicles from individual or central loading areas to training locations job sites or other destinations according to the assigned schedule.

• Perform cargo delivery as assigned.

• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Ensure equipment is fully operational before each shift.

• Clean the vehicle and service the vehicle with fuel.

• Keep accurate trip logs.

• Perform vehicle licensing examiner functions as .

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma/GED is .

• 0-3 years experience in operating a vehicle.

• Must possess a valid US Government Motor Vehicle Operators Identification Card.

• Must have current or be able to obtain Medical Examiner Certificate (DOT Card) before hire.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

• May be to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

• Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be .

• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

• A valid state drivers license is with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
