The Role:
Adult Social Care in Cornwall is changing. Were looking for innovators to join us in developing a best-in-class Adult Social Care model.
We are looking for a dedicated enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the team in undertaking strength-based assessments for people living in the community with long term physical health issues.

As part of your role youll focus on preventing reducing and delaying the need for care and support; providing advice information rehabilitation equipment and adaptation to promote wellbeing and independence. Your key role will be to ensure that residents families and communities have the right support in place at the right time.

Working Pattern:
We presently have one vacancy 18.5 hours per week.
The service operates Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm working pattern open to negotiation.
Flexible working patter is an option.
What youll need to succeed
Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care and/or relevant area OR be willing and able to complete this once in the role.
This position will be subject to a enhanced criminal record disclosure check.
