The Centralized Staffing Office (CSO) provides staffing and scheduling support to the three clinical programs (Mental Health & Addictions Womens & Newborn Health Childrens Health) and Pathology and Lab Medicine. Reporting to the Manager of Centralized Staffing the Staffing Clerk will provide staffing support to the staffing coordinators and administrative support to the Manager and CSO. Duties include but are not limited to:
Scheduling/Staffing Duties:Ensures all shifts are covered and needs of the unit/department are met. Will also be responsible for managing staff inquiries concerning their schedule and rotations.
Payroll Duties:Assists Staffing Coordinators with payroll entry as operationally required. Process shift changes and short-term vacation requests as well as respond to employee inquires.
Administrative duties:Assist the Staffing Coordinators with the printing and delivery of daily flow sheets and availability reports for their respective units/departments. Will also be responsible for updating call-out lists with phone numbers and seniority dates. The incumbent will also assist the Manager with the collection of data regarding information such as overtime sick time replacement cost and work load (Emerald). Additionally the Staffing Clerk will assist the Manager with computer applications and various clerical duties including ordering supplies maintenance requests and other related duties as required.
Rotational shifts as required between the hours of 07:30-18:00
