THE OPPORTUNITY
As our operations continue to expand we have an exciting new opportunity for a Raisebore Offsider to join our team. This full-time role will see you on a 14/14 FIFOCobar with potential to other sites in QLD SA and WA. You will play a vital role in supporting the Raisebore Operator in the safe and efficient operation of raiseboring equipment. This position involves assisting with the setup operation and maintenance of the raisebore machinery ensuring compliance with safety standards and contributing to the overall success of underground mining operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the installation and removal of drilling tools and accessories
- Monitor the equipment during operation and perform inspections
- Assist with the maintenance repair and lubrication of machinery
- Ensure all tools and equipment are clean properly stored and in good working condition
- Support the loading and unloading of drill rods casing and other materials as needed.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role you will need:
- A valid drivers licence and able to drive a manual vehicle
- Hold valid First-Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
- Hold a National Police Clearance or be prepared to (not older than 12 months)
- High-risk work licence: dogging and rigging (or willing to obtain within 3 months at your cost)
- High-risk work licence: Elevating Work Platform (favourable)
- Ability to operate and maintain mining machinery and tools
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work in a remote and challenging underground environment.
