Job Summary

We are hiring a Neuro-Interventional & Cerebrovascular Services Radiology Manager in our hospital in Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of Neuro Interventional Radiology and Cerebrovascular services within the Brain Institute

  • Ensure full compliance with clinical governance safety protocols and regulatory standards.

  • Analyse service performance metrics such as throughput wait times and modality utilisation.

  • Develop and implement strategies to support service expansion efficiency and optimisation.

  • Prepare business cases for equipment upgrades staffing models and service redesign.

  • Monitor budget performance and contribute to financial planning.

  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team.

  • Manage recruitment onboarding training and professional development in collaboration with the Head of Radiology Operations.

  • Foster a culture of accountability innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct staff performance reviews and support overall staff wellbeing.

  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital.

  • Work with the Quality team DPO and Legal to ensure compliant software and data use.

  • Represent Neuro Interventional Radiology and the Hospital Brain Institute in hospital-wide strategic planning and governance forums




  • Requirements

  • BSc in Radiography

  • CORU Registered

  • Postgraduate qualification in Interventional Radiology

  • Postgraduate qualification in Leadership

  • Minimum of 10 years experience working as a Radiographer

  • Proven experience working within a Radiography team

  • Competent in intravenous cannulation and contrast administration

  • Evidence of ongoing post-registration professional development

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Demonstrates strong motivation and an innovative approach to the role
