Job Summary/Description:
As an Iron Mountain Bureau Reporter you will live in the Iron Mountain area and report on what matters to the local community for our television newscasts and station digital platforms.
A Multi-Media Journalist must be versatile requiring strong storytelling. Youll be reporting enterprise stories from the field and working out of our Bureau in Iron Mountain. You are writing editing and producing stories from idea to on-air and online. Youll also be doing LIVE shots from field locations. Were looking for those individuals able to think outside the box find stories that stand out in the market and leave a lasting impression on the viewer. The right person is creative contributes story ideas and develops contacts. Social media is a big part of our news coverage. Youre responsible for writing and posting stories to the TV6 and FOX UP Website Facebook Twitter and other station-related platforms. Community involvement is a must.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Personal appearances in the community and station functions are an important part of the job
- A strong grasp of the English language spelling and grammar is a MUST!
