Required Skills:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes specialized reach trucks and your standard forklifts or other handling equipment to move material to and from assigned locations within the warehouse or customer facility. Responsible for operating and managing these industrial trucks to pick orders load and unload materials safely into racking systems and deliver them safely to designated areas throughout the to piece pick shrink-wrap and re-pack materials designated in the warehouse. Performs physical inventories cycle counts and quality inspections for incoming and outgoing materials. Required to efficiently enter data and operate scanning equipment and utilize specialized logistics/warehouse management knowledge of standard practices and procedures within a warehouse environment. Prepare receiving storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process. Perform pre-operational forklift inspections and document any damage or repairs needed to appropriate personnel. Overtime weekends and holidays may be required depending on business demand. Maintains good housekeeping in all work areas and assists in general clean-up daily. Required to attend and complete all company development safety and compliance training. Required to adhere to all BLS policies procedures DOT and OSHA safety rules and regulations. Strict adherence to C-TPAT best practices. Follows all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO-9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18000:2007 Quality certification programs. Other duties as assigned.
