Job Description Responsible for the recruitment and development for the program including assessing academic eligibility of prospective student-athletes and athletic talent through observation and communication with coaches and other officials. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding to ensure team compliance with NCAA Big South Conference and institutional rules and regulations. Organize and develop a competitive playing schedule that minimizes missed class time and includes conference and non-conference opponents. Develop team travel itineraries and requests for transportation meals and lodging. Also submit annual budget requests for equipment supplies officials etc. |
Required Qualifications An accomplished coaching background in mens soccer; a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; excellent communication skills; strong organizational and leadership skills and a proven ability to instruct develop and recruit student-athletes is required. Impeccable personal and professional integrity is essential. |
Preferred Qualifications: Documented success as a coach at the collegiate level strongly preferred. |
