Job Summary

Financial Reporting Analysis and Forecasting of Non-Retail Income (NRI) vendor programs. Reconciliation of invoicing payment and revenue reporting. Collaboration with Merchant Visual Finance and Operations teams on development and execution of promotional programs. Contract management and training support for Merchant teams.

Design planograms that incorporate current merchandise presentation standards company financial objectives Buyer strategies and support seamless shopping experience for the customer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial reporting analysis and forecasting of NRI programs using sales and purchases by vendor as well as profit analysis of programs
  • Reconciliation of NRI program invoices payments and revenue reporting with Accounting and Merchandise teams
  • Tracking of sold programs store participation and expenses of NRI programs
  • Contract management and training/mentoring support for Merchant teams
  • Ad hoc reporting projects and administrative work as needed.
  • Creation of planograms to accommodate varying store assortments and physical store size differences.
  • Analyze data by business segment replenishment time and vendor pack quantity to determine placement and product facings that maximize space profit and inventory turns.
  • Collaboration with Merchant and Visual team in line review process
  • Leverage vendor data competitive reviews and industry trends to drive innovation category focus and excitement in retail merchandise presentations.
  • Ensure the Planogram database is current with the most updated planogram files

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 to 3 years of Retail merchandising planogram or Analyst experience preferred
  • Strong Excel and data management skills; High level of organization for details
  • Merchandise planning and/or quantitative analysis skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks organize and prioritize workload and complete work with a sense of urgency accuracy and follow-up
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Store experience a plus
  • Demonstrates a strong career commitment and initiative to advance to the next level
  • Experience in actively participating and presenting ideas/opinions in department meetings
  • Ability to work efficiently in a highly team-orientated environment
  • Adapts easily and positively to change and demonstrates flexibility
