Job Summary

Job Title: Hospitalist - Physician

As a Hospitalist youll practice in a supportive environment with a focus on providing high-quality inpatient care. Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care with a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM 7 PM).
Conduct daily rounds on assigned patients with an average of 1215 per physician.
Admit patients and manage rapid responses and codes.
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available.
Complete patient assessments histories physicals and documentation using Paragon EMR.
Coordinate with attending physicians specialists and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Participate in managing 4050 patients collectively with the hospitalist team.
No on-call duties required.
Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with a solid infrastructure.
Accepting Board Eligible candidates who will become Board Certified within two years.

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
New York medical license or willingness to obtain.
Clean malpractice and license history.
Current DEA BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.
Open to full-time 7 on / 7 off schedule.
Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support.

License and Certification Requirements:

Must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible.
New York medical license or willingness to obtain required prior to start.
DEA BLS ACLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
