Job Summary

Job Title: Full-Time Hospitalist

Join a trusted healthcare provider in Central New York as a Hospitalist (MD or DO) in a community-focused setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a well-supported inpatient team manage a manageable patient load and enjoy excellent sub-specialty support. The facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care on a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM 7 PM)
Conduct daily rounds on assigned patients (average 1215 per physician)
Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available
Perform patient assessments histories physicals and documentation using Paragon EMR
Coordinate care with attending physicians specialists and hospital staff
Participate in a hospitalist team managing 4050 patients collectively per day
Enjoy a role with no on-call duties
Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
New graduates are welcome provided they have completed residency
Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start
Clean malpractice and license history

License and Certification Requirements:

Valid New York medical license or willingness to obtain one
DEA BLS ACLS and PALS certifications are required
