Job Summary
Are you a technician with a strong hardware engineering or IT background ready for a high-energy career change Join the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino as an E-Games Technician I to apply your technical acumen directly to our gaming floor. You will leverage your troubleshooting skills to execute critical machine moves perform game conversions and conduct floor upgrades.
This role demands rapid-response diagnostics preventative maintenance on E-Games ATMs and kiosks and inventory management. While collaborating with senior staff and vendors you must also be ready for the physicality of the jobincluding standing for long periods and lifting up to $75$ lbsamid the lively 24/7 casino environment.
Ensure our state-of-the-art gaming equipment is always running flawlessly!
Responsibilities
- Execute machine moves game conversions and floor upgrades.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machines under the supervision of a higher-level technician.
- Assist vendors with machine repairs as a liaison.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting techniques and escalate problems when necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and assist in the repair of ticket redemption kiosks and ATMs.
- Maintain an accurate parts inventory.
- Respond to technician calls on the floor in a timely fashion.
- Adhere to all regulatory departmental and company policies.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with one year of previous E-Games or technical field experience (e.g. IT electrical) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Ability to pass a background check pre-employment check and random drug tests.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
