This position is primarily performed on the casino floor which involves exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. The role requires physical exertion including standing and/or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 lbs. The E-Games Technician I must be flexible to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
Execute machine moves game conversions and floor upgrades.
Perform maintenance and repairs on machines under the supervision of a higher-level technician.
Assist vendors with machine repairs as a liaison.
Demonstrate troubleshooting techniques and escalate problems when necessary.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines and assist in the repair of ticket redemption kiosks and ATMs.
Maintain an accurate parts inventory.
Respond to technician calls on the floor in a timely fashion.
Adhere to all regulatory departmental and company policies.
Ensure work is performed in a safe manner.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with one year of previous E-Games or technical field experience (e.g. IT electrical) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have completed IGT Courses: MT321 MT412 MT413 and MT103.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
Ability to pass a background check pre-employment check and random drug tests.
Ability to work well under pressure.
