This role will plan and carry out inspections and assessments on existing and future Water Corporation assets and impacting building activities compiling reports and maintains records.

What the role will involve:
Conducting inspections and testing in accordance with inspection plans
Auditing asset construction to ensure construction method materials used and level of accreditation of construction personnel are to corporate standards
Compiling inspection reports maintaining records and reporting on compliance with conditions
Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders on asset construction issues providing input to corporate water sewerage drainage and protection of asset manuals and guidelines
Liaising with operators and developers to facilitate connection of assets
Evaluating new products/technology for use in the operation of assets
Key skills and experience:
Substantial experience within the water and wastewater industries (or related Infrastructure)
Relevant experience in contract inspection of infrastructure
Ability to write and compile corporate reports and interpret plan specifications/standards
Understanding of Asset Protection processes and guidelines
Ability to Commit and Contribute to a safety first culture.
