Glen Raven is recruiting for a Power BI Developer/Analyst which you will be responsible for assisting Glen Raven corporate (CFO Office) and divisional customers to envision design and deploy Power BI reporting solutions. As part of the Glen Raven IT team you will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple phases of the solution life cycle including architecting business / financial analysis designing and implementing reports models and processes for large scale data assets.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate openness to emerging technologies including AI and proactively embrace and utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and drive innovation
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting and analytics platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes
- Develop optimize and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries for enterprise data platforms including support for ad-hoc data requests and analysis
- Develop maintain and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards
- Demonstrate expertise in Power BI Power Query Data Models and Data Visualizations
- Collaborate with IT teams and subject matter experts to design deploy and consult on Power BI architecture design and best practices
- Perform data analysis using Power BI over complex data setsincluding financial operational and other business domainsto support informed decision-making
- Demonstrate proficiency with SQL databasesincluding Oracle and the Oracle Exadata platformand adapt quickly to new database technologies
Education and Experience:
- S. / B.A. degree in IT or Financial / Accounting related field
- Experience with enterprise SQL databases including extensive SQL language experience
- Understanding of Data Lakes and Enterprise SQL databases
- Minimum two years of Power BI experience
- 2-5 years of general technology experience
- Power BI Premium / Premium per User environments experience
- DA-100 Power BI Certification
- Microsoft Azure experience
- Enterprise Data Lake experience
- Visualization best practices understanding
- Dimensional modeling concepts understanding
- Power Query working knowledge
- General understanding and practical application of AI tools and architecture
