We are looking to add aPrincipal Financial Analyst (Strategic Finance) to our this position you will report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with cross functional teams including Finance Contracts Human Resources Program Management Operations Engineering Business Development and Executive Leadership to provide strategic insight and ensure sound financial planning for strategic initiatives. Your contributions will play an essential and critical role in leading and driving the entire company through increasingly rapid stages of growth.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly report to the Chief Financial Officer lead the development of financial models to evaluate corporate global strategic initiatives conduct in-depth analysis of financial data and analyze market trends and industry benchmarks which is crucial for the company to determine its finance and marketing goals.
Serve as the key advisor to the CEO and CFO to provide important financial insights for entire companys strategic decision-making and support initiatives such as M&A financing and capital investments. Present executive-level presentations to the CEO Board of Directors and key investors.
Lead major financing initiatives including fundraising debt and equity financing grants and other federal or state related activities.
Monitor the entire companys financial performance identify KPIs and lead a team of financial staff to prepare reports for Executive and senior management.
Lead the development of long-range strategic forecasting (5-10years) through analysis of current business and future global corporate initiatives which will assist the executives to determine the entire companys global business expansion and operational goals for the next 5 to 10 years.
Lead a global finance team in the definition of processes to vet and evaluate future strategic corporate growth initiatives which is essential for the company to determine its business and development directions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; MBA required.
A minimum of 15 years experience in accounting strategic finance Financial Planning & Analysis or related areas.
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership and management capacity preferably in a high-growth start-up.
Strong understanding of financial principles practices and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
Strong ability to develop effective consultative working relationships with senior leaders within the organization.
High level of integrity ethics and professionalism.
Experience working with a hardware-focused business model with Engineering R&D Manufacturing Quality and Supplier Management and Cost Accounting.
Experience working in a DoD Government contracting environment.
Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects.
Experience building and creating executive level summaries of financial data that is presented to Executive Leadership
Experience meeting critical deadlines and developing reports to drive solutions and process improvements.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills: individual will need to be comfortable working through complex processes and systems changes.
Expertise in financial modeling and proficiency in software like Microsoft Excel and FP&A systems. Experience with ERP systems can also be beneficial.
Advanced MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
