Job Description
An Industrial Maintenance Instructor teaches students how to install maintain and troubleshoot industrial machinery and systems used in manufacturing and industrial environments. They combine classroom teaching with hands-on lab instruction covering mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and automation concepts. This is a full-time 176-day instructional position with an opportunity for a continuing contract status that is contingent upon Board approval and funding. Teaching assignments may include variable hours at various sites including days evenings and/or weekends. Teaching assignments may include variable modes of instruction including face-to-face hybrid and online classes. There may be opportunity to teach during the summer semester. Key Duties Teach industrial maintenance fundamentals safety practices and technical skills. Provide hands-on training with industrial equipment and diagnostic tools. Develop and update curriculum to match industry standards. Assess student performance through tests and hands-on evaluations. Maintain lab equipment and ensure a safe learning environment. Support students through mentoring career guidance and skill development. Collaborate with industry partners to align training with workforce needs. Associates Degree in related field or Minimum of 3 years of Industry experience
