Physical Health Nurse Up to.5 Hours per week Monday-Friday

As a Physical Health Nurse within a specialist inpatient mental health unit youll be the steady clinical anchor for young. If you thrive in environments where your compassion and clinical skills matter this role is made for you.

Youll be the driving force behind each patients physical wellbeing guiding their care with confidence and heart. This is a predominantly MondayFriday position (37.5 hours per week) offering structure while still giving you the satisfaction of being hands-on with varied clinical needs. What Youll Bring

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active NMC registration.
  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in NG feeding and phlebotomyessential for this role.
  • A genuine passion for empowering young people and delivering excellent person-centred care.
  • The ability to navigate dynamic clinical situations with calmness clarity and a collaborative mindset.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead the physical health input for young people within an inpatient mental health setting.
  • Complete thorough assessments and shape personalised care plans that support recovery.
  • Work closely with the management team GPs and speech & language therapists to coordinate seamless holistic care.
  • Carry out NG feeding and phlebotomy with confidence and accuracy.
  • Monitor ongoing physical health needs identifying risks and supporting early interventions.
  • Contribute to a warm stabilising and supportive clinical environment that helps young people feel safe.
