Job Description

We are hiring for our client a respected Belfast-based law firm who are seeking an experienced Tender/Bid Writer to join their central business team. This is a key role supporting the firms growth strategy through the preparation coordination and submission of high-quality tenders proposals and bids across multiple practice areas.

The Role:

  • Manage the end-to-end tender process from evaluation through to submission
  • Produce high-quality written content including tenders proposals capability documents and pitch materials
  • Review tender requirements interpret specifications and plan submission timelines
  • Coordinate contributions from legal and business teams ensuring consistent accurate responses
  • Edit proofread and format documents to a high professional standard
  • Monitor tender portals and identify new opportunities across NI ROI and UK markets
  • Maintain up-to-date bid libraries templates and supporting materials
  • Manage internal deadlines ensuring all stakeholders contribute on time
  • Support post-submission evaluation feedback analysis and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes branding and document standards

The Person What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a tender bid writing proposals or similar role
  • Strong writing editing and proofreading ability with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills able to coordinate multiple contributors
  • Ideally degree educated in English Business Communications or a similar discipline
  • Previous experience in a legal professional services or regulated environment is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with document templates and bid portals
