Compensation: $105150.00 - $110856.62/annually (Tesseras compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range depending on qualifications and experience.)

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and inventory operations across the site. The Procurement Manager is responsible for all procurement purchasing and inventory management for materials equipment and subcontracts. This role oversees the full procure-to-pay cycle including direct handling of subcontracts (both firms fixed price and indefinite quantity for minor construction) while guiding Supply Technicians and other personnel to ensure accuracy compliance and efficiency in all sites purchasing and inventory activities.

Productivity workplace safety customer satisfaction and the teams success are dependent on the leadership teams position efforts. Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation purchasing expediting bid analysis and invoice auditing for manufactured equipment and bulk materials.

  • Ensures end-to-end procurement process is efficient effective and compliant with the contract and regulations.

  • Works in tandem with the Production Manager to manage the full subcontract cycle including RFP and PO formulation bid analysis changes modifications and subcontractor payments.

  • Leads purchasing of equipment and parts using the Maximo system receiving a Purchase request and completing the Purchase Order cycle including order receipt and invoice matching.

  • Resolve issues with vendors and requesters as needed.

  • Mentor Supply Technicians who perform purchasing and inventory functions.

  • Complete and maintain purchasing digital data and forms including bid requests materials requisitions purchase orders logs reports trending.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree is required.

  • 5-8 Years experience in purchasing/procurement or subcontracting.

  • Ability to use Procurement Systems Excel Word and Outlook.

  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Requires a high degree of professional integrity ethics and confidentiality.

  • Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.

Preferred: Experience in federal purchasing and subcontracting including FAR/DFAR rules. Procurement and inventory management experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
