Our Science and Insights branch is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader Biodiversity Indicators Program to lead a dedicated team of scientists delivering high quality biodiversity reporting that informs decision making and supports better outcomes for nature across NSW. You will guide the development and delivery of the Biodiversity Indicator Program oversee updates to biodiversity indicators improve reporting frequency and support the creation of accessible insights through digital dashboards and report cards. You will champion scientific excellence knowledge sharing and collaboration ensuring complex modelling and data is converted into clear meaningful and timely information for government and the community.
You will work closely with colleagues across DCCEEW and external partners to align programs integrate tools and contribute to the strategic roadmap under the NSW Plan for Nature. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement you will identify future research needs support the delivery of the outlook report and respond to emerging science requests. As part of the Metrics and Forecasting leadership team you will foster a culture of integrity collaboration and accountability while driving transformative work that strengthens the evidence base for biodiversity conservation in NSW.
