OurTeam Leadershere at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership support and development to a wide range of staff. The post holder will lead the delivery of services supporting and empowering Adults across Kirklees to overcome issues around substance misuse.
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management and strategic development of the Alcohol Team withinKirklees.They will lead by example in creating a professional and focused team culture committed to excellent service delivery.
Where:Huddersfield with travel to Dewsbury and across Kirklees
Hours:Full Time 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range:35220.59 - 37184.91 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours pro rata for part time)
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice) appraisalperformanceand sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to theirroles.
- Empowering staff to promote hope empowerment choices control and opportunities thatassistservice users reaching their full potential as individuals and communitymembers.
- Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to serviceusers.
- Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice providingtimelyvalues-basedfeedback.
About you:
- Experience of working with Adults experiencing difficulties around Substance misuse.
- Excellent knowledge of drugs and alcohol and their effects.
- Line management experience including the delivery of reflective practice.
- The ability to lead empower and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices and experience of embedding these operationally.
- Knowledge of a range of psychosocial and evidence-based interventions around substance misuse.
- Ability to ensure all record keeping outcome monitoring and data collection is maintained effectively.
- Communicate confidently and effectively verbally and in writing.
- Respond flexibly to the demands of the post.
- The ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Show commitment to facilitating positive outcomes for Adults.
