Job Summary

Analytical and/or testing
Independently write conduct review and report scientific inquiries
Troubleshoot calibrate and maintain instrumentation
Assist with test method development and validation efforts
Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
Ensure coverage and performance
Future employees will be working with:
- Process Control NPRMs
- LC-CAD Analysis (Sweetener Batch Acceptance Process)
- Particle Size
- Stem Length
- NIR pH/OV
- Balance Verification (Daily)
- Routine Sample Analyses (CFC SFC HLC and CLC) oven pH NIR Sympatec and Retsch

Qualifications :

High school or BS in Science or Engineering;
- 3-5 years (high school) or 0-2 (BS) related experience
Ability to work flexible hours as needed with occasional off-shift/weekend work
Strong leadership initiative and team building skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company and client policies
Ability to delegate workflow as required
Ability to work overtime/weekends
Ability to work in a hot dusty environment lift over 50 lbs and be standing for more than 50% of the shift
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information :

Position is full-time four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday for 6 months then Tuesday-Friday for 6 months (continuing to alternate every 6 months.)
The shift is 5 AM-3:30 pm.
