Who you are

  • Hands on experience building fabricating assemblingdisassemblingand/or testing
  • Comfortable using tools and working with your hands or writing spreadsheets atyour desk
  • Comfortable with writing and using software scripts loggingdataanddrafting documents
  • Highly organized and able to communicate effectively
  • Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
  • Able to balance between the perfect solution and just getting it done.
  • Must be able to work well in an open team environment.
  • Close proximitytoDublin OH to be onsite

Responsibilities

  • Executetest proceduresand experimentson new and returned product
  • Read follow andmaintaindocumentation for QC test procedures and experiment plans
  • Disassembleassembleand inspect returned products on a routine basis
  • Perform failure analysis and root cause hardware product performance
  • Log data and constantly improvedataclarity and organization for the IoT test team
  • Work closely with supply chainoninventory processes
  • Work closely withHardwareandTestEngineers onnew experiments and QC processes

Qualifications

  • BSor trade school certificate equivalentor relevanthands-onworkexperience
  • Experience withelectronics orelectrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes multimetersetc.)
  • Experience withtools andmeasurement methods units tolerances
  • Is comfortable disassembling and inspecting electromechanical devices
  • Capable standing and performing light manual labor for many hours per shift
  • Strong organizational skills and is detail oriented
  • Experience with PythonMatlaband/ordata acquisitionsoftware isa plus
  • Experience with issue tracking and source control such as Jira/Bitbucket is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing or consumer/industrial product test environment is a plus
