When you accept a position with Volo youll be joining a passionate driven group of innovators within the youth sports industry. Coaches/Referees serve our kids and families by providing a safe and fun experience on the field. This is a part time position however there are opportunities for advancement within the company.
ADSL All Dorchester Sports Leadership and Volo Kids will be partnering together for a Youth Recreational Basketball League in January for children ages 8 to 13! The league is scheduled to start on Tuesday January 13th and run on Tuesday and Thursdays for 8 weeks. The league will run from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Locations: Mattapan
Referee responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Serve as direct contact with the kids and families to assure that they are having a safe and fun experience
- Referee 2 games twice a week for 5v5 basketball league
- Know and lead court set up each week
- Provide support to volunteers if any issues arise with parents players or venues
- Jump in as admin support if needed
- Report any player parent ref coach issues to site lead
