A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Grade VII Housing Co-Ordinator in Sligo Leitrim Donegal Community Healthcare within Adult Mental Health Services from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of Service

The HSE has created six new health regions. Each region is responsible for providing both hospital and community care for the people in that area. Bringing community health services and hospitals together means we can take a more patient-centred approach to healthcare.

HSE West and North West is responsible for the provision of all acute and community services across the 6 counties of Galway Mayo Roscommon Sligo Leitrim and Donegal and is operationally divided into 4 Integrated Health Areas (IHAs) Galway/Roscommon IHA Mayo IHA Sligo/Leitrim/West Cavan/South Donegal IHA and Donegal IHA each managed by an Integrated Health Area (IHA) Manager.

Purpose of the Post

The Housing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Integrated Health Care Areas Sligo Leitrim and Donegal Mental Health Management Team to progress the transformation of existing services by developing and sustaining strategic housing initiatives. The post holder will lead and coordinate the work of mental health services across the 2 IHA areas in supporting service users accessing and maintaining appropriate housing in particular the implementation of the National Strategy for the Housing of People with Disabilities.
