Position Overview:

As Manager Finance Systems (Planning Platforms)at Canada Goose you will be responsible for driving the strategic development enhancement and oversight of our financial planning and management reporting this role you will collaborate closely with Finance Accounting and IT teams to ensure our systems effectively enable accurate forecasting budgeting and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What Youll Do:

Application Ownership & Development

• Lead the design build and maintenance of application models modules dashboards and workflows.
• Manage data integrations ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data flows.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Anaplan solutions.
• Oversee data and model governance version control and documentation.

System Strategy & Optimization

• Develop and execute a roadmap for finance systems aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Ensure systems are compliant with internal controls and external regulations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Finance leadership on continuous improvement of financial processes (budgeting/forecasting management reportingetc)
• Provide training and support to end-users fostering adoption and proficiency in financial systems.

Reporting & Analytics

• Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools using application and Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity through rigorous reconciliation and validation processes.
• Assist in month-end close budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Team Leadership & Project Management

• Lead and mentor a team of finance systems analysts and application engineers.
• Manage projects using agile or waterfall methodologies ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Lets Talk About You:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP Sage MS Dynamics) and financial planning budgeting and forecasting applications (Anaplan preferred).
• 5 years of experience in financial systems management
• Experience in data analysis data management or related fields.
• Experience of integrating financial systems (TM1 Hyperion SAP D365 Anaplan etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL (preferred).
• Knowledge of ETL tools Alteryx KNIME (preferred).
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication analytical and project management skills.
