One of our top clients in Longview TX is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Engineer who is passionate about applying modern engineering technologies and staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
About the Team
The Electrical team plays a key role in maintaining mechanical integrity and enhancing reliability across the site through technology-driven solutions. This position reports to the Asset Management Leader and works closely with IT/OT Operations Excellence Operations and Project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the lifecycle management of Electrical Instrumentation Analyzer and Safety-Instrumented Systems.
Design and implement core electrical projects that meet plant operational needs.
Lead root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and contribute to developing and executing innovative corrective actions.
Support maintenance and operations by researching selecting and implementing improvements to plant equipment.
Analyze performance data and provide technical recommendations for reliability and safety improvements.
Develop and deliver training programs for craft personnel to promote safety and system reliability.
Create and execute risk management strategies to identify and mitigate asset reliability risks that could impact operations.
Provide expert-level guidance in Management of Change (MOC) Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical electrical engineering role
