Purpose of the Post
The post holder will be responsible for facilitating the personal and professional development of the multidisciplinary team in North West Hospice to ensure they are competent and safe practitioners in a caring and compassionate way thus providing high quality patient care across the service area.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a programme of practice development and education to support the priorities of the clinical areas.
Assist in the development and implementation of induction and orientation programmes for new staff of all disciplines in the clinical areas and evaluates the effectiveness of the programmes.
Assist in the ongoing development and training of PCOC (Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration).
