The purpose of this role is to manage a programme of key strategic projects within the International Merchant Technology organisation in Global Payments. You will support high profile Strategic projects within the Merchant organisation; particularly focused on the Asia Pacific region and will perform a key role in helping the IT organisation to deliver these on time. You will work with senior IT Leaders and Platform Delivery leads to bring certainty and speed of delivery to our initiatives reporting to executive stakeholders in the entire IT and Business organisation



  • Manage a variety of complex product led projects/programmes that span one or multiple lines of business and regions. Youll drive the timely delivery of assigned strategic projects across Asia Pacific partnering with our International Product team throughout the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).

  • Youll work with Technology Platform Delivery leaders and project managers to define Program Increments to build and release focused on delivering business value early. You will coordinate a Asia Pacific program level plan and work with the Platform teams to deliver to these outcomes

  • We work as one team so you will assist team members to ensure project goals are achieved on time and within budget

  • Youll own top level issue and risk management for your projects solving problems and working to remove impediments to both the team and the overall project

  • Youll work closely with all stakeholders at all stages of the process to obtain buy-in and progress project & programme milestones

  • Were all about engaging with people and being transparent youll complete regular reports on project status and ensure they are of the highest quality for senior management/executive review.

  • Youll ensure that the top level strategy and OKRS (objectives and key results) are tracked reviewed and managed to drive real change across the organisation. You will work with senior stakeholders to analyse track and report on strategic metrics that flow to the CIO

  • We believe in timely and effective execution youll measure track and review project delivery metrics ensuring adherence to project time budget and resource constraints across multiple projects

  • Strong record of delivery and execution against strategy. Capable of managing and switching between multiple areas and activities without losing speed

  • Drive production of high quality plans ensures adherence to plans reports on progress and maintain delivery schedule

  • Proven ability to deliver on projects across different organisations and departments

  • Previous experience within or working with an IT department as a project manager

  • Demonstrated ability to follow and implement project management methodologies

  • Stakeholder Management. Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships between stakeholders across all levels of the organisation

  • Self-motivator who will hit the ground running. Hold itself to a high standard. Brings a positive growth mindset and fosters that in others

  • Strong process and people leadership. Effective cross-team leader

  • Strong emotional intelligence

  • Project or Programme Management certification Lean Six Sigma APMG or Prosci certifications beneficial

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
