JBPM Developer

The jBPM Developer is responsible for designing developing and implementing business process workflows using jBPM Drools and related BPM technologies This role works closely with business analysts architects and development teams to automate business processes integrate workflow logic into enterprise applications and ensure efficient and scalable orchestration of business rulesKey ResponsibilitiesjBPM Workflow DevelopmentDesign model and develop BPMN 2 0 workflows using jBPMImplement business rules using Drools DRL files and integrate with process workflowsDevelop custom jBPM components including handlers task listeners service tasks and custom nodesConfigure and manage jBPM runtime environment and process engineIntegration Application DevelopmentIntegrate jBPM processes with enterprise applications microservices APIs and databasesBuild REST SOAP interfaces to trigger or interact with workflowsCollaborate with Java Spring developers to embed workflows into the application stackSupport deployment of workflows in containers Docker Kubernetes or application serversProcess Optimization AnalysisTranslate business requirements into optimized business process flowsImprove existing workflows for performance reliability and maintainabilityAnalyze process performance and troubleshoot workflow execution issuesTesting Quality AssuranceWrite unit and integration tests for jBPM processes and business rulesDebug workflow execution task assignments and state transitionsEnsure compliance with architectural security and coding standardsDocumentation CollaborationCreate documentation for workflows technical solutions and integration patternsWork with business teams to validate process logic and refine requirementsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate in cross functional teamsRequired Skills Qualifications3 7 years of experience in Java J2EE developmentStrong hands on experience with jBPM version 6 7 or newerExperience with Drools including rule authoring and integrationProficiency in Java Spring Spring Boot Hibernate JPA REST APIsStrong understanding of BPMN 2 0 workflow patterns and process orchestrationFamiliarity with relational databases MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle and SQLHands on experience with Git Maven Gradle and CI CD pipelines
