Job Responsibilities
- Provide in-house shift coverage for neonatology patients.
- Manage an average daily census of approximately 14 babies.
- Participate in 24-hour in-house call coverage.
- Collaborate with fellow neonatologists and healthcare teams during shifts.
- Perform required procedures and manage patient care in a community hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Neonatology (Required)
- Active California medical license (Required)
- Recent neonatology caseload experience within the past 12 months (Required)
- Experience working in a Level 4 NICU (Required)
- Completion of the Prescreen Questionnaire (Required)
- Curriculum Vitae formatted in MM/YYYY with all gaps explained (Required)
- Compliance with rate structure (Required)
- Submission of NPDB self-query report (Required)
License and Certification Requirements
- Must hold a valid and active California medical license.
- Board Certification in Neonatology is mandatory.
