As a Care Team Supervisor based out of our Belmont office and overseeing the Perth Metro and Wheatbelt areayou will develop genuine connections with Care Partners supporting them to provide quality care to our customers that optimises health wellbeing and independence. Fostering an environment where genuine care flourishes team members feel engaged and development needs are supported through education.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading managing and supporting Care Workers on a day-to-day basis to ensure a coordinated consistent and high-quality approach to service delivery
- Undertaking consultation and regular meetings with support service specialists such as HR WHS and RTW consultants to ensure professional delivery of care worker support
- Facilitating recruitment while ensuring BaptistCares policies and procedures are followed
- Supporting new staff through orientation buddy shifts and probationary period including the development and review of probationary performance plans
- Assisting Care Workers to access leave as required by working in collaboration with Roster Clerks whilst ensuring BaptistCares leave policy is followed
- Liaise with local external education providers (TAFE Area Health training suppliers) to assist with training programs
About you
- Diploma of Community Services Human Resources or equivalent qualification knowledge and experience
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff with the ability to lead and work as part of a team
- Current Australian drivers licence
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Quality Standards is desirable
