Primary Function
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a part-time global education coordinator. This position works with various internal and external stakeholders to establish institutionalize and sustain global education at Wor-Wic Community College by developing and maintaining the Colleges global education program building relationships promoting the program and building interest among students and faculty in study abroad opportunities. This position works Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am - 2pm with some evenings and weekends required.
Essential Duties

Coordinates and supports global education programs including study abroad virtual exchanges global curriculum integration and international partnerships
Serves as a liaison between internal departments and external global partners to ensure smooth program operations
Assists in the development of culturally responsive educational materials and resources
Organizes and facilitates workshops webinars and events that promote global learning and intercultural competence
Monitors program outcomes and prepares reports for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain databases and documentation related to global education activities
Supports grant writing and fundraising efforts related to global initiatives
Stays current with trends and best practices in global education and international collaboration
Contributes to the colleges annual and five-year comprehensive department assessment process as per the college assessment plan
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required; an associate degree plus two additional years of relevant work experience OR four additional years of relevant work experience with no degree can be substituted for the education requirement
- Two years of experience in global education international program coordination or other relevant experience
- Strong intercultural communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for global learning and equity in education
- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to inclusive practices
- Flexibility and adaptability in cross-cultural settings
- Valid drivers license
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience with virtual exchange platforms international travel logistics or global curriculum
Supplemental Information
This part-time administrative position is grant-funded and does not include benefits. The days and hours of work include Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 2pm and some evenings and weekends are required. The starting hourly rate for this position will likely fall between $30.87 and $37.87 per hour depending on the successful candidates qualifications and relevant experience/.
