Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Naval & WCR Engineer to join our team.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to develop and implement effective design and construction strategies for naval and waterfront structures.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports drawings and other project documentation.
- Manage project budgets and timelines.
- Review and approve contractor submittals and change orders.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in naval and waterfront engineering.
- Travel to project sites within the MENA & Europe regions as needed.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Naval Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in naval and waterfront engineering preferably in the MENA & Europe regions.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of design standards codes and regulations related to naval and waterfront structures.
- Experience with project management and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within the MENA & Europe regions.
