Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Medical Technologist for a job in Cumming GA.
Responsibilities:
Perform clinical laboratory testing and specimen analysis according to established protocols.
Conduct testing across various lab sections (hematology chemistry urinalysis microbiology etc.).
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control and calibration procedures.
Document and report test findings in the laboratory information system.
Prepare specimens verify orders and follow proper handling and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnostic and treatment decisions.
Requirements:
Required certifications: ASCP NCA AMT AAB or HHS.
Minimum 2 years of Medical Technologist experience.
Preferred: Experience working in a clinical lab setting.
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures instrumentation and quality control processes.
