We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 4K Teacher/ Pre-K Teacher. You will be responsible for providing a range of instructional assessment and positive behavioral support strategies to ensure educational excellence in a Head Start classroom for 4-5-year-old children.

Your Role: You will be responsible for providing a range of instructional assessment and positive behavioral support strategies to ensure educational excellence in a Head Start classroom for 4-5-year-old children.
What Youll Do:
Work collaboratively with family members an Assistant Teacher and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities
Establish and maintain a safe healthy learning environment including full supervision of children at all times in accordance with Head Start and childcare licensing requirements
Provide classroom experiences that are developmentally linguistically culturally and age-appropriate for the children services
Ensure classroom arrangement materials and displays are organized and conducive to childrens learning
Document childrens progress through ongoing observation and direct assessment activities; use that data to plan and individualize curriculum
Collaborate with Family Services staff to support families as they implement sound family life practices extend learning into the home and meet attendance expectations
What You Bring:
Bachelors degree in early childhood education or related field with at least twelve (12) credits in Early Childhood Education required.
Minimum one (1) year of experience teaching preschool aged children.
Either a Department of public instruction (DPI) license for Early Childhood required OR Must have obtain Wisconsin Registry certificate within three (3) months of employment (a copy of an educators license issued by the department of public instruction (DPI) as a teacher may substitute for a certificate from The Registry).
Must have or obtain certification in CPR/First Aid and Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) within six(6) months of hire.
Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.
Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
Must have a valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation.
Successfully pass a health physical examination background check and fingerprinting screen and maintain required Physical/TB screen requirements.
