Experienced Line Cook Commercial Kitchen (St. Louis Area)
Schedule:
Day shift MondayFriday (no weekends). Typical hours start at 7:00 am and end mid-afternoon with earlier finish times on lighter days and occasional extended days that may run into early evening.
About the Role:
Were looking for an Experienced Line Cook / Prep Cook to join a fast-paced commercial kitchen that produces fresh grab-and-go meals for retail and institutional customers. Youll help prepare ingredients follow recipes and ensure consistency and quality in a team-oriented environment. Some work may occur in refrigerated or cooler areas so the ability to work in colder conditions is required.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes
Chop slice measure and mix ingredients for daily production
Maintain food quality consistency and safety standards
Assist with kitchen cleanup and organization
Support smooth production flow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of prep cook or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
Strong knife skills and knowledge of food prep techniques
Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under time pressure
Dependable detail-oriented and team-focused
Comfortable working in refrigerated or cooler environments
