Job Summary
Job description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-orientedMetal Stamping Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating stamping presses and working with metal components.Set-up experience is a strong plus as this role may involve preparing machines for production runs adjusting dies and ensuring consistent quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate metal stamping presses to produce parts according to specifications.
- Perform machine set-ups including die installation and adjustments (if experienced).
- Inspect parts for quality and consistency using measuring tools and visual checks.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal stamping or manufacturing preferred.
- Set-up experience with stamping presses is a strong plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic technical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
