Our client a prominent internationalAmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their ERISA Litigation Practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly experienced team handling complex employee benefits litigation including high-impact matters involving fiduciary duties pension and retirement plans and health and welfare benefits. The role offers significant responsibility client engagement and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction in good standing
26 years of substantive litigation experience
ERISA litigation experience is preferred
Strong research writing and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
Soft skills: Excellent communication judgment and interpersonal skills along with a collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality client service

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in ERISA litigation matters including fiduciary duty pension and benefits disputes
Draft motions briefs memoranda and other litigation filings
Participate in discovery including depositions document review and preparation of discovery responses
Conduct legal research on ERISA employee benefits and related statutory frameworks
Assist with case strategy risk assessment and litigation planning in collaboration with senior attorneys
Support clients across a range of industries on complex benefits-related litigation matters

Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $235000-$260000 as determined by experience and market factors
