As a Registered Nurse with the Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service Community Intake Team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe effective and timely care across a high-demand mental health service. Youll guide consumers with compassion and clarity helping them navigate towards the most appropriate person-centred treatment pathways. The Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service (GNMHS) provides intake triage assessment consultation acute care community care coordination and rehabilitation to consumers and their families. The GNMHS encompasses Newcastle Lake Macquarie Raymond Terrace and Port Stephens Community Mental Health Sites. The Intake team enjoy a positive and supportive team culture located in both Newcastle and Charlestown with the option to base yourself at either.
