TEAM: Technical Campaign Decision - Software Engineering & DevOps

The Technical Campaign Decision platform integrates two applications: (Technische Aktion Datenbank) for managing product defects related to vehicles in the field and TCP (Technical Campaign Portal) for controlling monitoring and documenting error assessments and technical action decisions.

Qualifications / Experience

Minimum mandatory qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related discipline
• Optional: ISTQB Qualification Scrum Certifications

Minimum mandatory experience:

• 5 years experience in bespoke software development ideally in a testing role alternatively in business or system analyst role
• Test case design execution and management
• Automation testing experience
• Integration load and performance testing
• Business requirements analysis
• SQL language and database experience
• Jira and Confluence experience
• SDLC Methodology: Agile Scrum Kanban or XP

Role Requirements

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Create map and execute test cases
• Create and maintain automation scripts using various testing tools and frameworks
• Define and implement test plans for releases
• Coordinate and participate in test efforts and troubleshooting to ensure delivered solutions meet agreed technical requirements and functional/process specifications
• Testing and validation of user stories and tasks
• Identify gaps in acceptance criteria and assist with user acceptance criteria

Defect Management:

• Defect logging tracking and verification
• Defect analysis and measures

Business Analysis:

• Analyse and understand the end-to-end flow of applications to support architecture
• Consider all touchpoints and impacts when analysing new business requirements or changes to existing requirements
• Translate business requirements into user stories
• Identify and promote optimisation re-use and standardisation opportunities within Group platforms

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders
• Display excellent abilities to initiate dialogue listen advise influence and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes
• Engage and collaborate with the team on suitable solutions that meet requirements and satisfy business and architectural roadmap
• Engage and collaborate with various integration touchpoint teams and share business and technical requirements

Operations & Support:

• Support operational excellence goals through strong operations knowledge
• Resolve escalated support topics as part of tier-2/3 DevOps role to ensure highest availability of critical applications
• Assist with query and complaint management in a timeous manner

Documentation:

• Assist the team to produce documentation for designed solutions

Team Enablement:

• Manage and enable internal and external teams to carry out implementation tasks
• Collaborate closely with IT providers

End-to-End Responsibility:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for functions and products from collecting requirements to implementation and problem solution

Agile & Lifecycle Management:

• Work according to Agile methods e.g. Scrum
• Control and manage the software lifecycle and continuously integrate and deploy IT applications
• Apply test-driven development methods

Additional:

• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
