Job Summary
Wayman Education is looking for a Music ECT Teacher to join a highly respected Good-rated Secondary School in Ipswich starting January. This is a full-time role offering excellent induction support for early career teachers who are enthusiastic about building their teaching identity within a strong Performing Arts department.
The Music department is known for its vibrant culture enthusiasm for practical music-making and strong student participation. The school places a high value on the Arts and ensures that Music remains visible through concerts ensembles clubs and uplifts in the curriculum. As an ECT you will be welcomed into a nurturing environment where collaboration professional trust and mutual respect are priorities.
You will teach KS3/4 Music delivering dynamic lessons that build musical awareness performance confidence composition skills and an understanding of music across different cultures and styles. The department offers excellent resources including digital composition tools rehearsal rooms instruments and opportunities to contribute to extra-curricular activities.

Experience and Qualifications
Music Degree
PGCE with QTS (Music specialism)
Ability to teach Music KS3/4 confidently
