A mixed secondary school located on the Hertfordshire / Northamptonshire border is looking to appoint a Computer Science / IT ECT to join their innovative team.

School Description
The school teaches around 1000 students and has seen improving outcomes over recent years. There is a strong emphasis on technology-enhanced learning digital safety and preparing students for a tech-rich world of work.

Computer Science Department Insight
The department delivers Computer Science and IT at KS3 and KS4 with pathways for both academic and vocational learners. The team uses a variety of platforms and languages supported by modern ICT infrastructure.

The Role

  • Teaching Computer Science/IT at KS3KS4
  • Planning lessons that build students confidence with coding problem-solving and digital literacy
  • Engaging with ECT training coaching and CPD within a supportive environment

Ideal Candidate
An ECT with flexibility enthusiasm and a desire to help shape a forward-looking digital curriculum.
