Echo Tech Regular Full-Time (Days)
Position Summary The Echocardiography Technologist performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and professional standards. The technologist obtains high-quality images supports cardiologists during interpretation and ensures accurate documentation and timely completion of studies. The Echo Tech works both independently and collaboratively with cardiology nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities -
Perform transthoracic echocardiograms Doppler studies and additional cardiac ultrasound exams as ordered.

Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and adjust imaging parameters to optimize visualization.

Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly and professionally.

Document findings measurements and technical details accurately in the electronic medical record.

Assist physicians during interpretation and support clinical workflow.

Maintain equipment functionality and ensure ultrasound rooms are clean organized and prepared for patient use.

Follow all sonography cardiology infection control and safety standards.
-
Support on-call coverage for weekends and holidays as assigned.
Qualifications -
Current RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification.

Current BLS (AHA) certification.

Minimum 2 years of recent echocardiography experience in an acute care environment preferred.

Proficiency with cardiac ultrasound equipment PACS and EMR platforms.
