Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mainframe storage administration including SMS HSM DS8000 TS7700 tape systems allocation DR and backup/recovery
• Manage tickets incidents and escalations in ServiceNow
• Perform upgrades installations and tuning for Z/OS and third-party mainframe tools
• Troubleshoot performance issues and conduct root cause analysis in large-scale environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-application programmers infrastructure engineers platform architects and operations
• Support critical workloads in a high-uptime enterprise environment

Required Experience & Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer or Senior Z/OS Programmer
• Strong background in mainframe storage administration including SMS/HSM
• Expertise with DS8000 TS7700 and enterprise-class storage systems
• Hands-on experience with FDR tape services backup and recovery solutions
• Ability to support on-call rotation in a 24/7 production environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex escalations
