About the opportunity

  • Play a lead role in optimising and supporting the Universitys payroll system (aPay) ensuring compliance data integrity and an improved user experience.
  • Apply technical expertise to configure upgrade and enhance the system mapping business requirements to functionality and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that improve efficiency while fostering a culture of service excellence innovation and continuous improvement.

About you

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Proven experience in configuring and administration of aPay (Ascender Pay).
  • Relevant experience in a Business Analyst role requiring business process re-engineering and improvement in large and complex organisations
  • Demonstrated experience with business and technical requirements analysis elicitation and testing including creation of test plans.
  • Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships whilst remaining fully customer focused
