Job Summary
The current tasks we would like to have support are maintaining and updating drawings and Material Masters (MMs) for a full buyout of VA500 support for further structuring safety valves as well as a current topic from purchasing (Fasani drawings). These tasks involve significant repetitive and administrative work. These tasks include:
- Maintain and change the drawings and MMs (#>500) for 100 % Buy out of VA500:
- Drawings need to be checked if they state of the art for purchasing reasons
- request rework and/or do the rework themselves
- MM maintaining: most of the MMs are Make items. To change them new MMs which are Buy items need to be set up maintained and released
- minimize the effort to the flat BOMs the new MMs need to be put at the right in the BOM/MM structure.
- Maintain and change MMs (#>500) for safety valves to have them set up correctly as a Buy item.
- Establish a copy of a current Make item (which is bought so no add. head costs are applied)
- set them up correctly as a Buy item
- structure them between raw and make item (which ensures that at any time we are are able to change between make and buy) /wo changing the Flat BOMS/configurator.
- Change existing Fasani drawings (#>100) with a Tyco Logo on it as purchasing is not allowed to send them out for purchasing:
- Open the drawing
- check it out of the system
- stamp/remove the logo
- save the drawing (under a new name/number)
- check it in
- request for release
- change if needed the related material master (MM) in SAP.
